As a real estate media agency owner, my goal was always to build a business that I could step away from and also see good money from. It was a challenge to get there, but also simple... I dreamt of it and worked towards it everyday.
As consultant and coach for other top agency owners, I'm passionate about my expertise and work, but not all my skills are driven by passion.

In the world of owning a small business and glorified hustle, there are many pressures and 'shoulds'. But your journey is your own, and no one else's.
It's okay to take a day off to golf, or spend endless hours on checking out the latest gear, but don't lose sight on your dreams...
Where do you want to be in your business in a year or in three years? and more importantly, what are you doing to get there?

Remember your dreams... is to travel the world and raise a family? For that to work, it probably makes sense to strive for a 20 hours a week and have an agency that puts six-figures in your pocket? And that will probably require growing your agency to 7-figures a year, and netting 10-15% on the million.
Or Is it your dream to go after glory of competitive athlete - to build the best real estate media agency ever with the most renown work and respected team? Then show up, and skill up, everyday. Chasing innovation and executing on a plan and tweaking the process to become 1% better everyday.
Ultimately, what are you doing to get there? What's the plan? and more importantly the action behind driving that dream into reality?
Is it hiring a VA to help take on the grunt work? Is it outsourcing video editing so you free yourself up to take upon new opportunities? Or is it bringing on a part-time creative or contractor to expand your service coverage? Or creating workflows and automations so you can more easily scale your business?
All of these things above are just like a big chess move getting you closer to your dreams. And often times it's just 3-4 big chess moves you need to take to win the game. For example, like bringing on a leader who can help build your team, or signing two partnerships that will allow your business to 3x.
Success comes from passion, not just doing whatever you have to and getting lost in the sauce. The only way to live your passion, is to free up yourself and create a surplus of value.
